At the heart of My Father's House Apostolic Church is a pastor whose greatest desire is to see people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Originally from Houston, Texas, Pastor Omar Cortez sensed God's call to ministry at a young age and has faithfully pursued that calling ever since. Alongside his wife, Damaris, and their children-Hannah (their oldest daughter, not pictured), Simeon, Faith, and Maddie-Pastor Omar leads with a deep love for God, His Word, and His people.

Pastor Omar is passionate about studying the Scriptures and is committed to faithfully preaching the Bible through expository teaching, helping others understand and apply God's truth. He has a special burden for the youth of the church and is dedicated to seeing the next generation become strong, faithful disciples of Christ. Whether ministering locally or traveling throughout the United States and around the world, Pastor Omar joyfully shares the gospel at churches, conferences, youth events, and special gatherings. His vision is to build a church where believers are deeply rooted in Christ, growing spiritually, and serving God's Kingdom with humble, servant-hearted lives. In the little free time he has, Pastor Omar enjoys creating lasting memories by vacationing with his family and specing a occasional day on the golf course. At MFH, we are blessed to have a dedicated man of God serving faithfully and passionately, and always supported and loved by his wonderful family.
